STORAGE has an excellent packaging plant in its warehouse of Poeta Pedro Prado (ex- Lourdes) 1556, Quinta Normal. With a complete equipment of imported machinery that allow us to offer a complete variety of services. Our services include packaging, mixture, selection, cleaning and milling.
Our facilities assure an absolute asepsis of the products during the packaging process.
PACKAGING: STORAGE packaging plant has a monthly capacity of 3.000 tons, in fractions that go from 0.5 grams to 50 kilos.
Our plant counts with different types from machines and dispensers that allow us to package a great variety of products in different types from packages, formats and materials.
Products that are packaged with automatic machinery are classified in 3 categories:
- Grains : Rice, Sugar, Lentils, Beans, Chick-peas, etc.
- Powders: Milk, Flour, Coffee, Powdered Soups, Bakery Mixtures, etc.
- Non Homogenous : Cereals, Quaker Oat, dehydrated fruits, peanut, nuts, chips, nachos, snacks and others.
At STORAGE we have vertical machines able to form, fill and close diverse products, also we have semiautomatic machines able to package in preformed packages, and a horizontal Flow-Pack type machine to package units. This variety of machines make of STORAGE the greatest and most versatile supplier of packaging services in Chile and allows our clients to use different types of packages including sachets, pillow type bags, square bottom bags, cases, preformed bags, composite cans, fine cardboard cases, cans and rigid plastic packages. Our clients can choose between different packaging materials such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and laminated or metallic films.
We also count with equipment for vacuum sealing and packaging, and for those products that require modified atmosphere conditions, like cheeses, cold cuts, sea food and meats.
